Gangapurna

At 7,455 meters (24,459 feet) high, Gangapurna is the 59 th highest mountain in the world. Gangapurna is part of the Annapurna Himalaya in Nepal. The geographic coordinates of the mountain are 28°36'17?N, 83°57'51?E. The mountain prominence (a measure of vertical separation between mountains) of Gangapurna is 563 meters and its parent mountain is Annapurna III. The first ascent of Gangapurna occurred in 1965.
